We’ve just come back from Kscope13, hosted in the fabulous city of New Orleans. It was my first time in the Big Easy so we tried to make the best of our time there with a swamp tour, jazz clubs on the boisterous Bourbon Street, and eating beignets at the famous Café du Monde. Of course we also attended the Oracle Developer user group community events and incredible sessions presented by the best and brightest in the Oracle world.
Here are a few words from AuraPlayer’s intrepid CTO, Yossi Nakash:
This year I attended ODTUG Kscope for the first time, and it was AMAZING!
AuraPlayer had a booth at Kscope13 this year, so I had a chance to meet a lot of people from the Oracle Forms community who were interested in AuraPlayer’s solution for Mobile and integration. In addition, I attended several great sessions and had a lot of fun!
It felt like I was meeting old friends, and in the meantime I learned a lot every day. I have to mention John King and his wife Peggy, Monty Latiolais and his wife Dianne, Michael Ferrante, and the many others that stopped by our booth to say hello and have a “L’Chaim” shot of New Orleans Spiced Rum.
We attended many great sessions presented by Oracle PMs and some of the Oracle experts that you might know from their blogs.
I know I’m waxing poetic about this conference, but what can I say … It was very educational, big enough to have everyone there, and cozy enough that Oracle product managers were accessible and you got a chance to talk to them, and it was a lot of fun … Happy Hour every day 🙂
We met a lot of people, and had long conversations with Oracle PMs Shay Shmeltzer, Michael Ferrante, Duncan Mills, Joe Huang, Lynn Munsinger and others. Kscope13 was well organized, had great sessions, great events, and great parties — I will surely come back next year!
